Celebrating the International Year of Astronomy and bringing the subject out into the community, Jane A Green will be giving an illustrated presentation in Alfriston War Memorial Hall (East Sussex) at 7pm on Saturday 16th May. Jane is a popular international guest speaker whose user-friendly approach to conveying this vast subject has been much applauded by professional astronomers, astronauts and planetarium officials, as well as the general public globally.Tickets are available at £7 per person to include refreshments by the Women's Institute.
